Unfortunately many real estate firms do not share our viewpoint. Some Westchester County real estate firms actually pay less of a commission to their listing agents if the home is sold through a cooperating firm. They encourage their listing agents to sell their sellers’ homes to their company’s buyers through an undisclosed financial incentive. Therefore, the seller can not expect true representation from their listing agent.
